Our home was a paradise - land of eternal youth, beauty and joy. Our daily life was full of sublime poetry, exquisite music, and sumptuous feasts. We danced in the flowery meadows and ran through forests. We were laughing and smiling, always happy and never worried. There never was any pain, or fear, or doubt. Our home was a paradise. Paradise lost.

We never knew betrayal until that damned day when we were forced out of our homeland. Light-hearted and relaxed, we weren't prepared to protect our dreamland. We never hurt anyone and believed that would be enough to live out of harm's way. We were naive. We were childlike. We pretended to ignore the laws of nature. We lost our home, but give us time - and we will take it back.
