On the Other Side of Fear (Patreon)

Children of nature, we were always grateful for what our home offered us. Wood, stone, feathers, grass, flowers, and so much more… Those blessings have always been enough to cover our everyday necessities. Until that day.

They came to our home with fire and iron. The forest was set ablaze in the blink of an eye. But it wasn’t fire that sent chills down our spine. Their weapons made of iron burnt our skin, leaving monstrous scorches and sucking heat out of our bodies. We will never forget the feeling of losing all hope when every good memory turns into a deformed nightmare.

Yet we persisted. We took an oath to fight our way back home, and in order to do it, we needed to face our fear. We touched the fire and never let ourselves twitch until it stopped burning. We mastered iron and made it serve our needs. Our weakness has now become our strength.
