Welcoming Ceremony (Patreon)

We were desperate. Aliens, strangers in this new world, we didn’t know who to turn to and where to go. Hurt and broken, homeless and exposed, all we wanted was to come back home. We started to seek help. We thought creatures of the forest, just like us, would be willing to help us. But we were careless. We trusted the first thing that offered us help, and we paid for it.

Not all forest creatures are kind and welcoming just because they live in the woods. Forests can harbour all kinds of dark and ominous beings that lurk in the shadows of the trees. There are also those that welcome visitors with open arms and then sacrifice them on the altar as a part of the cultist ritual.
