Arian had the face and the voice of an angel, even among his own Fay kin he was a true vision of beauty. His voice turned to song could charm the birds down from the trees to land gently on his hand. Making his livelihood easy, the most elusive birds were easy prey and caged without so much as a fuss.

With help of his enchanted lute not just birds became wantant prisoners, any small creature, even the most ferocious could be turned docile enough to be handled. All this made for easy money in the markets of the land.

He knew he was blessed but couldn't help feeling bitter about his life when in the company of people. The ladies from all walks of life and races were just as helpless as the birds when in his company. In his youth he would abuse this power to its fullest, it took a few close calls with incensed husbands and outraged fathers to make him realise that every action can have its consequences.

Now he wears a mask and speaks in a forced low tone when in public. He hated the pretence but it was better for everyone, especially him, as he was a lover not a fighter. Although every now and again he lets his mask slip and his true voice free to charm anyone that has something he wants.
