So let me get this right...Everytime Doc did one of his dimension portal experiments...it worked. However, he didn't know that because he didn't see any 'results'. So he kept on pressing 'the button' because it didn't work. Gosh, you're going to give us readers a headache with all this timeline, cross dimension, time travel pollution chaos.

HeroTales

No, not every one of Doc's attempts to activate IDA worked. In this scenario it did. However, instead of Doc getting pulled into the portal it was Derek and Cho. I don't know what extra stuff you're gleaning from 'pushed buttons' and 'results', but It's actually pretty simple. The multi-verse can play out a number of different scenarios and frame different kinds of worlds. That's why the opening line for else-world tales is "The multi-verse tells many tales". Scenarios can differ slightly (like this instance) or greatly.

Sorry it just seems like these 'portals' seem to be opening with a lot more frequency. I mean, you had that whole story with Sam begin wisped away to the past. Then you have Sam's full comic going to visit Mal which caused Violet to be zapped into...the past. Okay so there haven't been a whole lot of instances of 'teleportation/time travel', it just seems to be happening with an increasing frequency.

HeroTales

Ok...A bit of confusion on your end. 1. Sam's mini of him being sent to Gia and banging Naga and Gale is an else-worlds story. Else-worlds meaning they take place in an alternate world/timeline and are thus non-canon. 2. Sam doesn't have a full comic where he visits Mal...Doc Sampson does (which is who I think you're referring to). In that comic, Doc gets sent to Gia and meets Malesande. We learn at the end that, in turn, Violent Milieu was sent to Ebon in his place. We established the idea that inter-dimensional travel comes with an exchange. If you travel to another world, someone from that world is sent to your world in turn. And we ended off with the last reveal that the events of Enter the Mad Witch occurred five years prior to the main storyline of Hero Tales. There's been, by my count, two instances of main story inter-dimensional travel. Not time travel (don't get them confused). Doc activating IDA and Four-Arms' encounter with Valentina (which very much IS canon). We'll put disclaimers or notes on future works to avoid people getting tripped up. You guys have to meet us in the middle and pay attention. lol. - Ota

Okay thanks for clearing that up.

HeroTales

No prob, mate. Don't worry, we'll have plenty of lore to flesh things out. Maybe we should start making a timeline and series concordance or something?

Question, which of the mini stories are main universe cannon (Bruce/Dutchess I know does since it ties into Arctic Heat), A timeline/Multiverse map would help tons.
