You don't do that to the big boss.

Over the past couple days, I watched American Godfathers: The Five Families on Netflix. It tracks the rise and fall of the mafia in New York City. I recommend it, if you're into that sort of thing. I didn't realize how much the mob was crippled in the '90s. Today it's a shell of what it once was.

The boss in this sketch is based on my old tabby, Simon, who was a big guy and wouldn't tolerate belly rubs.

I used to have a cat that would roll over on his back and show you his beautiful belly enticing you to rub it but as soon as you got your hand down there all four claws would be gripping you by the wrist and it was very uncomfortable and very important to learn not to pull your hand away. I found this very misleading, kind of a false advertising thing if you will.

When they roll on their back, it's almost like they're saying, "Make my day." But that's a different movie.

Who can resist a soft, fluffy tummy? And I'll add American Godfathers to my watch list! 🤩

Carmine's associate may be taking a 'swim in the fish tank' if such is ever mentioned again...

Touch at your own risk. Claws, claws, claws often followed by teeth!

Both of my cats, a tortie and an orange siblings absolutely loved belly rubs
