July 4th…the least liked holiday for dogs. Our Sammy does not like loud noises either. Most cats could give a big red rat.

Yeah I usually only put a collar on a cat if the cat represents Piper. I've only done it a few times

I agree with Clyde and Clarence. One of my long-ago cats was terrified of fireworks. Not just the Fourth but also New Years Eve, Chinese New Years, and whenever a local team won an important game. The Blue Angels during Fleet Week are even worse.

Got that right! Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, fireworks are illegal almost everywhere, including where I live. And this year, the Sheriff's Dept. sent out a postcard pointing this out, and providing a phone number to call to report the illegal fireworks. I would like to say that I memorized that number but we all know that ain't gonna happen. So I have that postcard plastered just below the screen of my computer!
