Today is National Love Your Pet Day. My cat Hannah hates it when I pick her up. My other cat loves it. How does your cat act when you pick him/her up?

Tilly hates it...but has no problem walking on me. Fritz is a big baby and has to be cuddled at all times.

Maude Pouliot

Mia doesn't like to be picked up but cuddles all the time.

Kimberly Beckham

1 is just too darn big (aka fat) to pick up. The other magically turns to a fluid when I pick him up. He then just drips from my fingers and splashes to the floor where he returns to a solid. He's a scientific anomaly...

We have one that’s like reeling in jello too, Kimberly

Jade, my siamese loves to be held but my red tabby Mr. Nugs does not. Both are rescue kitties and the lady that fostered Jade used to carry her about in a baby carrier. Mr Nugs will get in your lap on his terms only. lol

Karen Jagielo

Ours hates being picked up, but she’s older now and seems to “tolerate” it more because she thinks she can’t jump on couch anymore..... this is so funny! Love the dog’s encouragement! 🤣😂

Jennifer Baker

I have 11 cats. About half of them like to be picked up. Strange phenomenon.

Scott Metzger

11 cats! Wow. The most I've ever had was three. And it was more like two and a half because one of them spent 90% of his time underneath the bed.

Ilana Shamir

My Ezra actually loves to be held so much he licks me endlessly which is really annoying actually. And Mimi likes being held too, but then gets totally freaked out when comes time to put her down and scratching galore follows!

Martha Wells

Miss Molly seeks it out once in a while but only on her terms. She’s a solid member of the cat union!

Paulette Gardner

Kowalski just tolerates it, Skipper loves it.
