Yesterday I was getting my kids to write thank-you notes for their gifts. My twelve-year-old daughter knocked them out quickly and without complaint. Getting my seven-year-old son to write his thank-you notes was almost as challenging as pilling a cat. There was a lot of groaning and wiggling.

I love the cartoon, but I also love that you make sure your kids write thank yous! 😊 as hard as that can be ( love the reference to pilling a cat 🤣), it instills very good values. 😊 I received your first book “Being Awesome is Exhausting” for Christmas from my kids. Absolutely love every page. Thank you for keeping us smiling all year! 😊

Great! I'm glad you like the first book. As for the thank-you cards, my son was frustrating but kind of funny. I had written down the person and the gift they gave so he knew how to spell everything. Then I came back a minute later to see how it was going and he started off his first card saying "Dear Thank You." You could say he was having trouble focusing. Also my wife usually spearheads the thank-you cards but I had to get off my lazy butt and help out this year. Long overdue. :)

Love it! I remember those days well! My kids are three young adults now 23, 22, and 19. So, they were in these stages together a lot. 😉 And, I'm asking for your second book for my birthday! 😊
