My daughter told me the other day that kids in her middle school Rickroll each other. I can't believe it's still a thing in 2021.

Rickrolling is when you send someone a link to Rick Astley singing Never Gonna Give You Up, but you disguise the link saying it's something else (something the person would be eager to click on). It's a bait and switch prank.

I just remembered that "Ralph Breaks the Internet" featured a rickroll, and that was in 2018. Maybe that's where kids learned about it.
