True story. A friend had a doorstop on the inside bottom of her bedroom door. Her jerk of a cat would reach a paw under the door, find the doorstop and boing , boing, boing. Relentless!

The bottoms of the bedroom doors in my my mid-century ranch had been planed off to make room for the shag carpet that was still in place when we bought it. Once the carpet was removed, that left plenty of room for Smoky cat to show us he didn’t like being separated from his people by a closed door!
