We haven't gotten our tree yet. This past weekend was a little crazy. My cat Hannah is going through some major health issues (she's almost 18). She has kidney disease and likely diabetes. Test comes back today. She still gets around and eats pretty well and drinks plenty of water. A lot of water. (Sign of diabetes).

She's a tough old cat. Hopefully she'll be around for a little while longer as long as she has a decent quality of life.

Once the tree is up, Max will attack the ornaments, Hannah will ignore it, and I'm curious to see what Dobby does. It'll be his first Christmas tree.

I’m sorry about your senior cat. Those kidney issues are a cat thing for sure. The only thing I know about dogs and trees is they choose to pee on them…I hope that’s not Dobby’s reaction

Sending much love to Hannah. We lost our Oscar in September to heart disease. He was 17.

Aw, thanks.. she definitely has a fighting spirit!

Thanks, Nancy. I’m hoping Dobby doesn’t treat the tree as a bathroom. I’m fully expecting him to drink water from the bucket/stand. Max does that

Aww, sending good health vibes to Miss Hannah. Our Chilly is also very elderly. She’s over 18 and she went in for surgery recently. Her kidney function is good for her age though. Her surgery was to remove a couple of teeth. She is a changed cat. She’s eating so much better and looks like she’s gaining weight, which she really needs to do. Good luck on the tree once you get it up. I’m sure Dobby will be fine. 🎄:)

Best of luck to your sweet Hannah for a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year! (And to you and all of you family!)❤️

Wishing the best for Hannah and all of you. I've been there.

That’s great how Chilly has turned around - new lease on life! Thanks re: Hannah. She’s eating the kidney diet food they gave us so it’s a good start
