Happy Caturday! Anyone planning to go to Disney anytime soon? Do you love it or hate it? I love it, but I know a few people who can't stand it.

As for the "It's a Small World" ride, I love Jim Gaffigan's joke about it: "Can you believe there was a time when people thought this was entertaining?"  Haha.

We are going in September. If you added a basket, this would be Thack's ride.

😄Hilarious! Just for the record, my being a musician, I naturally had to "sing" this caption (to see if it fits!)... and now "the song" is stuck in my head!!😄 (In answer to your question, I love Disneyland.)

Do one of the Halloween parties. It is so much fun and worth it.

No Disney for me. Not a fan of amusement parks, rides etc. l love Jim Gaffigan so I’m with you there.

Myrna Neuberg

Me too! (As of now, it's still there.)

I like the idea of Disney World. I went once probably 20 years ago now. It was my first time. It was the perk on the side of attending a real estate convention. The flight to Mars was intense. But not until I got off of it and walked away. I think you need any more description after that. So I like the idea of Disney world but the reality for me is I'd rather stay home and watch a Disney movie.

Gaffigan has an entire bit where he complains about Disneyland. “Know what the best ride at Disney is? The air-conditioned shuttle bus back to the hotel.” 😆

Amy Trice

It is the only reason we go in the fall. We started going in 2021 and it has become an annual tradition.

i have many happy memories of going to Disneyland as a kid and young adult. My senior class even voted to fly down from the Bay Area instead of having a prom. Haven't been back in decades though. I think I would need to have a kid along but it would be interesting to see how it's evolved and what's unchanged.

Watching a Disney movie is always good. Or most of them are :)

I was surprised how much I loved Disney World at age 10, when I thought I'd be too old for it. Part of me wants to see what's changed since, and part of me dreads it.

As to Gaffigan, I'm amazed that there was a time in the 20th century that people could hear "Shipoopi" and not think it sounded dirty.

I went with my family when I was probably 3 or 4. Amazingly I do remember that ride… 😉 (as that would have been about 50 years ago…😳) always wanted to take my little family of five there, but just was never affordable for us. I do hear a lot from the kiddos I work with in school.. even got a little picture frame from a student after she visited. 😊

Now imagine being stuck on this ride for a half hour. Go ahead, I'll wait. I wonder what Jim Gaffigan would say to that! (This didn't happen to me, but it happened to my friend and she won't go anywhere near that area now.)

Scott Metzger

A family of 5 would cost a fortune at Disneyland, especially when airfare is involved. Very cool about the picture frame from the student.
