It's the thought that counts.

How long can your cat tolerate a belly rub? 10 seconds? A minute? Or is your cat a weirdo who loves belly rubs and can't get enough? I met a cat like this - he was a big lovebug.

My cat loves belly rubs. She’ll get on my lap and roll over. It’s only when she becomes over stimulated that I have to stop. She’s like a dog. When we have guest over, she greets them by showing her belly and asking for rubs.

The words "cat" and "belly rubs" definitely do NOT compute in my kitty household! (Think "murder mittens" and you'll get the idea. 😅) However, I do absolutely LOVE this new cat cartoon!

I once had a cat that would roll over on its back and when you went to rub the inviting tummy, you got all four claws around your hand and wrist. OUCH. Made me a little hesitant when others like it. Currently one likes it and one would never allow it.

Our first cat had an elaborate daily routine, where she'd curl up in my lap, but only if I cupped my arm just right. Then she'd flop on her back and demand a belly rub. After about ten minutes she'd get up abruptly and leave. Cherished memories!

Our Emily loves belly rubs. Her twin brother, Thackery, is the opposite.

That's so funny! Love the look on the dog's face-so excited to give a gift card he would love! ;) Chilly lasts about two seconds of a belly rub and then she bites (with what teeth she has left! LOL!)

Nancy DeStadio

It’s a no touch zone for Ollie! Sammy can use that one hour belly rub gift card and enjoy it to the fullest or is it to the furriest.

I love the term "murder mittens." I used it the other day and my wife had never heard of it. I was surprised.

Yeah, my old cat Simon was the same way, like a bear trap.

Scott Metzger

Haha! Dear departed Hannah was like that, hardly any teeth left in her older years.

My cat hates belly rubs. If she's sleeping I can sneak in there for maybe one belly rub, then she wakes up and bites me.

I never tried it with my parents' current cat, and I'm not about to.

Mine could lie for hours getting his belly rubbed, but he's a bit of a weirdo

We named them after the Binx siblings from Hocus Pocus. They are siblings. As a kitten, Emily had almost black marking on her forehead and Thackery had similar orange markings on his forehead. They reminded me of Halloween

I have two cats currently. Marshall, my tuxedo, would use every single second of his one-hour. My other cat, Hattie, would take off faster that you would believe, given her girth!

Laurie Stoker

Hattie is not a large cat, but she weighs a little over 12-1/2 pounds. To be fair, she's 14-1/2 years old and doesn't move around much.😉
