Back from Disneyland (Patreon)

We went to Disneyland last Thursday and came back last night. It was a lot of fun. But I am feeling it this morning. So tired.

The new Star Wars land is very cool. And the Incredicoaster in California Adventure is a blast. Super fast ride. Wife and kids went on it twice in a row but I could only do it once. It was fun, but it shook me up!

This is going to sound crazy but I had to go to Disney world as part of a work trip once. I'm not good at big park areas. And lots of crowds. But they had Penny squishing machines I love those machines and theirs even squished quarters! I think officially if they're called elongated coin machines. But I love looking for them they make a neat little token souvenir.

This was our first trip in 7 years and a lot has changed! The last time we went to Disneyland, they were just beginning construction on the Star Wars land. They did a great job. It really feels like you’re on a Star Wars planet

I’ve never been to Disney World. Want to go someday. I can tolerate crowds for a while but then at some point I suddenly hit a wall and I just have to get out 😆 I didn’t see the penny souvenirs at Disneyland but I’m sure they have them.

I used to have a link to a website that had all the locations across the country where you could find them. Fun for side trips. Just carry shiny pennies in the glovebox.

Welcome back! Sounds like a fun trip :) I love those extended weekend trips, but so hard coming back. Never been to Disney (either one) except when I was maybe 4…. Many moons ago! I did Six Flags with my kids and that was exhausting. You all are probably pretty wiped. ;)

Yeah it's hard coming back from a long weekend trip. We got back home around 6:00 so it wasn't too late but it's still hard to get back into the routine and go back to work/school. It was a lot of fun and worth the 7-hour drive :)
