I've been approached by a company called Gimme Swag about creating a plush toy. You can see samples of their products here.  I'm considering making one of Dave the Stray holding a bag of Jade Fade. But I first want to gauge interest with you lovely people, the inner circle. What do you think about plush toys? Your honest opinion is greatly appreciated.

Interesting idea. Looking at the co webpage, I bet they could do something that looks like a Metzger character. 👍🏻 Maybe this sounds awful, but I’d only buy a cat plushie 🙈

Love the idea of a plush Dave but would also like some of the other cats. Appreciate the stoner reference with the Jade Fade, but I’d be more likely to purchase without it. Seems like that might limit the audience a bit.

It's not so much that I disagree with Dave the Stray as much as holding up a baggie of green isn't really anything I want to display

Thanks, this is helpful. If I do this (and it's a BIG "if" at this point), was also thinking about just Dave the Stray (no catnip) or Eddie (the gray cat who's had a lot of jobs).

I like their style and I’m sure they would do a good job! I’m torn between wanting to support and the fact that I’m trying to declutter. I would buy a small one to go on the shelf with my other little stuffed cats if it fit.

I agree that they're charming, but no stuffed animals last any length of time in my house because of dogs. For swag, I like the idea of showcasing one of your characters, but I think I would opt for something more useful and reasonably priced for you. That's some expensive swag to give away at roughly $35 a pop!

I am a Patron member and my cat Mahalo was on a T shirt - really loved it. So yeah - I want a Dave the Stray plush cat. After all when it came to decluttering subscriptions I chose you over NYT.
