GUNTHER should of won but Randy's shoulder was up. Referee's decision is final but there will be a match between Orton & GUNTHER again. GUNTHER will be king no matter what though.

i thought refs are told to call it like a shoot.. clearly not coz i refuse to believe the ref didnt see that shoulder up.

referees should always call things like it's real. it should be up to the wrestlers to do THEIR job of orchestrating their sequences seamlessly. when wrestlers mess up and it puts the spotlight on the referee, it's kinda messed up because it's either he "goes with the script" and calls it or he/she doesn't count it and it's up to the wrestlers to come up with a different finish. so it could get messy regardless, but I would prefer referees call it like it's real because then it would tell the audience that these rules ARE enforced and it gives it a bit more of a legitimate feeling of an actual competition between athletes

It was a reaaaaaally obvious botched pinfall. But it doesn't change the fact that Gunther deserved it. The only reason I would've seen Randy win it is because he never won it might not get another chance. Apart from that it would always be Gunther imo.

Exactly, plus the way triple H is planning everything is so freaking game, amazing story lines, character build-up and what not, completely agree with the comment you showed me as well, Triple H is called The Game, The King Of Kings for a very good reason and i'm all here for it, plus the way hunter is cooking so many good story lines and character build-ups, new talents, i wouldn't be surprised to see raady and gunther face each other in an epic storyline against each other for this rematch in a big PPV offcourse as this rivalry will go on a whole another level for both gunther and randy, if done properly and it will be as triple H will cook this story so good and shape this rivalry to create and amazing history between the two athletes for us to remember

this botch is common with the backslide pin that they did, as you have to keep your balance but randy didn't manage to, the ref still had to finish the match anyway regardless as that was the planned finish from the start, mistakes happen but the ending is the same regardless, all they can do is try to improve

Gunther need to win,don't get me wrong,Randy is far more better than Gunther,but Randy already win 14 time world champion and win 20+ titles in total,win royal rumble 2 time ..v.v.v... and already secured his place in Hall of Fame,his career is at a level that others can only wish for,so even if he win king of the ring,it can't do anything for him,is that worth it to take aways an opportunity just to add a little thing to something he already have alot? but if Gunther win king of the ring,it could help elevate his character and his career so much more
