Owen hart’s death 😢

Derek Jones

Just to clarify, when they said Owen's blood was in the ring and the wrestlers had to wrestle with it, they were incorrect. Eric Bischoff talked about the documentary and one of the wrestlers that was there messaged in. The blood on the ring was from the previous night.

Another reason to watch the wrestling with shadows documentary is that they go into more depth about the Hart family (7 brothers & 4 sisters, including Bret and Owen)..

The biggest reason why the Stone Cold and Shawn match wasn't that good was because Shawn's back was heavily injured. There was a whole drama regarding that since they didn't even know if he was gonna show up to drop the belt to Austin, let's just say that Taker "convinced" him on doing it lol.

Question do you still have Hulu? There's a series that's called, "Dark Side of The Ring", and I was wondering if you can react to some of those episodes?

The problem With Owens Death was That Vince did not Stop the Show, Police Should have Stopped The show that Ring was Crime Scene

I was in the target demographic during the attitude era, and I was locked in each week. Loved both shows. Most of the stuff on TV were products of the time but for sure crossed lines. Some of that stuff is hard to watch, but it drew in more people to watch than Monday Night Football -- which is wild. Austin & the Attitude Era and the way we all see certain people portrayed really changed everything. We have people like Drew and others that are heels, but they have valid reasons. There is a lot of grey. And it makes for more entertaining, realistic shows.

To be fair the men in wrestling are not average looking either, but I do think success while not looking like a supermodel is easier to achieve for men than women. Though if you think what Mick Foley went through then perhaps not after all. I'm not putting Mick down, he is in my top 5 wrestlers of all time, but he isn't the typical looking wrestler and I think because of that he had to be a very unique one. Also you might want to check some of the matches with Trish Stratus and Lita, they went as hard and tough as the men in the Attitude Era and the fans respected them as much, as performers not just eye candy.

There's a bit of revisionist history with the Austin 3:16 promo. Prichard said that "the next day there were Austin 3:16 signs everywhere in the crowd". That's B.S. Even after that promo, Austin still wasn't booked all that great right off the bat. The next month, he couldn't even get on the actual SummerSlam card. He wrestled on the pre-show. WWE likes to claim that that promo was what launched him into super stardom, when that's simply not true
