U pretty much have the concept down but here's more info. WWE annual January event. First royal rumble was in 1988. 2018 had the first woman royal rumble match added. 2 wrestlers start the match after 1 and half minutes a new wrester enters. 30 wrestlers. Winner gets a world championship match at Wrestlemania. To get eliminated a wrestler has to go over the top rope and both feet has to hit the floor.

i would definitely consider the royral rumble match as my favorite each year.. i don't even watch the weekly shows anymore, but i think i have seen EVERY royal rumble match ever. even the "greatest royal rumble" which ironically is one of the worst ones, and some don't even count it.. the 2020 men's royal rumble was probably the best story wise.. but had less surprise appearances, debuts and returns then usual.

and the funny part is, Vince Mcmahon didn't like the concept of the royal rumble at first and did a test run just because the person that came up with it was his friend... and that was 1987 (the test run) and from 1988 on it's one of the most talked about events every year.

it's once a year, in January. they will usually start talking about it and doing "royal rumble by the numbers" ads around january 1st, and they show is usually around the 22nd to 28th of january.

U think u could watch and react to the royal rumble live this year? i mean u dont have to show the screen just with the audio and your reaction its enough to avoid copyright i believe. Its gonna be on Saturday, January 27

That last moment was Triple H coming in at #30 in 2016 and ending up winning it after throwing out Roman Reigns then Dean Ambrose (AKA Jon Moxley AEW) also, just like 1992. The WWE Championship was on the line. Roman was the champion, Vince made him defend it in the rumble :o
