A Good Death (Patreon)

The core tenants of Bushidō include mastery of skills, duty and loyalty, and acceptance of death. A samurai's way of life surrounds him with death; a good death is one marked by bravery, honor, and which is absent of fear. This started out as a little doodle after coming home from Japan and ended up as a pretty great little drawing! The cel-shading was fun to attempt. Background isn't anything to write home about, but for what was around a 2 minute job, I think I did okay, especially those brush strokes around the clouds. The grass is kinda shit tho. I guess that's a skill I have yet to master.
