Hello, friends. I want to be honest with you. Over the past month, I took a break from Bright Past and focused entirely on a new project — Esterium Project. That gave me a breather and the energy to continue.

Today is just an announcement. Tomorrow I’ll publish a separate post with the new Esterium build.

I previously said I would move Esterium to a separate Patreon page. I’m not sure anymore that this would be more convenient for everyone. For this release, I’m posting it here on the main page. I’ll decide what’s next based on your feedback.

5 new NPCs

A trading system

A completely new quest journal with task tracking and stage breakdown

2 new side quests, one with a spicy ending

Note: in the future I want to add multiple pathways depending on skills, background, and more

Added skills (their values are tied to attributes)

New look for the cart location

Updated item icons

Labels on buttons for moving between locations

New class selection icons

Language switching should now work correctly
