Another podcast, another opportunity for Pete to forget Jim Cornette's name.

How could we forget the missing link?!

I've got my final exam in evolutionary biology tomorrow so I'm really glad I listened to this podcast today! "are there really like, humanlike monkeys or like very monkeylike humans?" is probably the 3rd question

TimeBomb

Loved the London talk, especially as I'm making my first visit from Australia later in the year. Still gonna visit Tower Bridge 😜

Ben

Fond memories of All In 2023. Between that and RevPro the night before was the first shows I’d gone to live since 2019. Will say on the opener Mark Davis has also become a really good singles wrestler in recent months. Great to see both Aussie Open lads doing well

Chris Dale

I was there live and I’m glad you’re doing this as on the day my mate said to me “I think we’ve had about 10 pints” and the sun hadn’t even gone down yet 😬. However, I do remember the bloke who did a massive sick on the way back to the tube and you could smell the curry spices from it.

Neil Pyle

WrestleMeMas request, Darby Allin v PAC Fairway To Hell, literally a brawl on a golf course, including a sand trap

Gareth Jones

I love AEW. I also love Deftones and half-informed evolution chat, so this is the place for me!

IRS

I’m not going to get factionalist about AEW. But I will about Tower Bridge. You can climb it on their walkway experience. My daughter loved it!

Damien

I feel bad for the guys who spent all that time doing the Craven Cottage lowdown. Hopefully they were able to redirect it to the Fulham masses

Kintaro Ooe

I believe the ground Pete was talking about where an apartment building is facing into the stadium is Brisbane Road, home of Leyton Orient and Tottenham Hotspur Women

John Lister

I vaguely recall a theory that they couldn't do Fulham because they wouldn't know until June what days there would be football games there in late August.

AJRed

My big All In story is I bumped into Marc outside Wembley proudly wearing my Wrestle Me t-shirt! And he was very nice! Although to this day, I regret that I forgot to jump on him from behind shouting "WRESTLE ME, MARC!!!", particularly as I'd already done that to four other people by the time I saw him.

AJRed

IT'S JUST MEN IN PANTS DOING FLIPS. There's your All In 2026 t-shirt.

JZA Dax, successor to ODB Dax

I am so fully in favor of Marc + Pete covering All Out 2023 next, and marveling at the way AEW put together a better card for THAT show, even tho the crowd there was smaller than the All Innit crowd by about 70%

Jon Owen

I had a great, very drunk day out at this. At one point my mate disappeared, only to turn up 30 mins later with a £600 replica belt. Not only did he wake up the next day £600 worse off, but had to lug this heavy bastard thing round London to the bus station. On the Deftones subject, they're the reason I'm not going this year as my missus got Vicky park tickets to see them the same day as All In.

Paul

“It’s just men in pants doing the flips” magic

Ivan williams

On will osprey, I always feel he has the character of a golden Labrador raised by a troubled family

Ivan williams

As the person who suggested reviewing 2018 All in when the Wembley event was on the horizon, I really enjoyed this episode. A great distillation of all the weird events and rumours at the time, many of which I had forgotten. I don't want to spoil the good vibes, so will keep this brief, I think you're wrong about tower bridge

Robbie Campbell

Fulham's stadium isn't that big, around 28k though obviously you could get more seats on the pitch so could probably hit 30k. However its not the easiest part of London to get to whereas Wembley is designed for big events. It was also the first or second week of the Premier League season, though I don't know how far in advance that was decided on as the start of the season. I assumed the O2 would be off limits up until they ran Forbidden Door there last year, since its usually where WWE run. I went to All In 2023 and had a great time, though I regretted not going down a day before and hitting up a few indie shows into the bargain. I've rectified that since though, and if you have a similar hankering I cannot recommend seeking out shows enough. EVE, Progress, Attack Pro, RevPro and Mystery Wrestling are hosting shows that weekend and more will inevitably be announced. If you're on the fence, just pick one that suits your budget and go, you won't regret it!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l51MorhPj2w Alright lads, just a heads up - Joel Gertner is appearing on JCW tonight!! Vince Russo booked JCW is actually a really, really good show. It's big, dumb, stupid and silly and has a bunch of fat guys. It's such a breath of fresh air, just stupid, amateurish bollocks for an hour and a half.

Martin Sundholm

The Michael Jackson statue is currently stored at Deepdale (the old home of the National Football Museum). Some nights I can hardly sleep knowing I’m only a mile away from such an iconic treasure.

James Girling

I’m probably one of the few people that was both at All In 2023 and has also stayed at the Hilton in Milton Keynes, which is the hotel that has rooms overlooking the pitch. Not sure what I’m prouder of.

Danny Reeves

There is room for both AEW and WWE. I was a teen in the attitude era so i have always been pro-WWE. But i also love AEW. AEW is so far ahead of WWE in every metric currently. I only watch WWE via highlights on youtube if at all. I will never not follow WWE but to have an alternative like AEW is a godsend. Can you imagine a world where there's only one major American promotion and its a TKO owned WWE? Ps the ground you were talking about with the hotel room is Blackpool. I live about a 5 minute walk from the ground so i see as much of the match from my bedroom as the people who pay £200 a night to stay there.

Richard Moore

I remember during the run up to All In 2023 I wasn't worried that no matches were being announced because I just had total faith that any combination of performers from that roster were capable of putting on a spectacular show. In retrospect I guess that's a mad way to approach anything.

Andrew Boreham

I love that you're doing AEW shows. Very excited to hear more. Cheers!

phil ryan

I went with my friend who doesn’t watch wrestling. He didn’t know anyone but he loved it!

Ryan Hald

Mark, if you’d like, I have a couple of lengthy playlists of wrestling matches or shows on YouTube. I haven’t watched it all but can share if you’re looking for even more to watch or even review.

Derek Snyder

WWE is boring but AEW is just unprofessional, minor league, embarrassing wrestling in my opinion. I have a friend who doesn't watch wrestling and when I showed him AEW he couldn't understand how any adult could watch it. WWE has a few things of that nature (Danhausen) but overall, it's more professional.

Maff Butterfield

Nevermind getting factional about aew Don't dare start on Kent v Essex, and if we're talking Ripper tribes, then I'm the TNA of that battle, Wearside Jack

Dylan H

This was a breath of fresh air. All the online discourse I come across is so anti-AEW and I don't get it. It has flaws, certainly, but it's another chance to watch wrestling. That's all I ask for, I just want more wrestling.

Paul Hamley

Wonderful stuff. Very happy to have the mix of wrestling covered. I’m not sure what you got more wrong - Evolution or Tower Bridge

Neil Sutton

Absolute shambles! Will Ospreay, like me, is from the London borough of Havering not Essex. As I’m sure the Aerial Assassin is aware, Rainham has been part of Greater London since 1965, well before he was born. Will could have put Havering on the map instead of whoring himself to the Towie lot. (Sorry Pete) His mum, Sue Ospreay, was even the Mayor of Havering until the recent local elections. https://thehaveringdaily.co.uk/2026/05/28/havering-gives-standing-ovation-to-peoples-mayor-sue-ospreay-after-incredible-88000-charity-total-revealed/

Frazer Smith

I rather stupidly took the overnight bus down the night before from Glasgow for this. However the pain in my back was only a minor inconvenience compared to the pricing of the merch… Although having priced this year’s I reckon I could get seats, travel and accommodation for cheaper than 2 nosebleeds to the Glasgow WWE show that I could walk to in 10 mins from my house so swings and roundabouts I guess.

AZ

YES! As a huge AEW fan (it’s the only product I watch these days and what got me back into wrestling, along with your podcast ages ago), I’ve been waiting years for more AEW content. Absolutely chuffed. More, please and thank you. Getting to see All In 2023 live in person was so much fun, great day out.

Greg London

Norwich City fan here, it's us. We've wedged a Holiday Inn into the corner of the South and Barclay stands. In it's infancy a Southampton fan was ejected from the ground, went into the hotel, booked one of the rooms facing the pitch and got a huge pop when he waved at everyone from the window!

scott cook

Just for lil ol’ me I need an update on Pete making Marc a deftones mixtape. A sexy metal mixtape. Gorgeous

Terrier44

"Neither of them are Kylie!" Ah that's the wrestling uncs I know and love

aloneinabox

I'm probably a bit late to the party but I signed up to the Patreon just to listen to this. This show may have only happened relatively recently but it's was interesting to go back and revisit comments from the time. We take it for granted now but it's mad to think how big a deal this was at the time

Ross Pollard

Sorry, Mr Marc cannot be sustainable due to the amount of single use plastics he’s collecting in a lock up
