What's the most incongruous place you've found a wrestling reference? I read a book by George Pelecanos one of the criticalally acclaimed writers of the TV show The Wire, called Hell To Pay. Theres a big section about one of the characters watching fucking Nitro!

I did not like the MJF & Adam Cole tag-team story. That was the beginning of Tony Kahn ruining MJF. It was one of the reasons that I quit watching AEW. MJF had been my favorite wrestler before all of that. Since that storyline I just haven't cared about watching his matches. He would be amazing in WWE if they used him right. He should have already been there.

When I bumped into Marc outside, he asked who I was looking forward to seeing - and to do this day I cannot believe that I completely forgot to say Sting, who I first saw taping WCW Worldwide off ITV in the dead of night cos my dad refused to get Sky for your fancy WWF. But basically, you've just summed up everything I felt about seeing him at Wembley. That's why you're the pro. Although I did miss the Sting the Ripper video cos I'd just found the ale bar, checked my phone and there was something about a to do backstage. Probably no big deal.

Oh yeah, awhile back The Pittsburgh Penguins had a player named Tyler Kennedy. When they did player roll call or if he scored a goal, they would announce as Tyler Kennedy.......KENNEDY!!! That always got a pop from me.
