Being a US fan is very nice because I get to come home from the bar, log into Steam, and throw on Wrestle Me at 11:30pm on Wednesday night right before a holiday weekend. Cheers.

I’ve just frustratingly spent 20 mins prompting AI to make me an image of Ken Dodd as Ken Dodd Nagasaki just to find I can’t upload picture comments to Patreon.

Sure I remember hearing Barry Windham married a multimillionaire in the late 90s which would explain the phoning it in

Pete Doherty as a wrestler?! I find it hard to imagine a man who can polish off a mega fry up, a history of substance abuse, and has links to a mysterious death, could ever find work in the wrestling business

Griffin Madill

The bin encounter tale was properly delightful, if somewhat plausible deniability-adjacent.

It says a lot than in 2026 I’d sooner watch and talk about Ralphus than mr penned in hairline c‘’mon baybay himself.

Great episode guys ❤️👍

Years later, Nang Nang Man remains my absolute favourite WrestleMe bit, I laughed so much I was in pain afterwards 😂😂😂

I think this is the first time you boys have talked about the Big Bad Booty Daddy. You've discussed the Steiners extensively but i think this is the first avout Big Poppa Pump specifically.

Just to say that trt is not the same as steroid abuse, eg wrestlers, abuse in most things will never end a good way

Of all the wrestling Peters, I cant believe you failed to mention Pieter

Tough Tom actually evolved into 2 Tuff Tony. His next evolution will be to Much Too Tough Tonypandy; his hair will be tight and curly and he will develop a beautiful thick chest-pelt and the ability to hit a resonant C5. In this final form he will seek out horror movie introducers to roughly mate with, so The Undertaker should be on guard.

Kinda crazy Billy Kidman doesn’t have a recent Mattel figure but the Gobbledygooker does. They think Kidman is too obscure. I agree with the critique of Chavo Guerrero. He had X-Pac/Jeff Jarrett Heat with me when he first debuted.

Sorry, hate to be 'that' pedant, but the Manchester UK PPV from spring 1999 is No Mercy (before it became a US PPV name), not Mayhem in Manchester . It's fully available on Netflix under 'No Mercy UK'. Quite glad you're doing Rebellion though, as I attended the Manchester show, and was gutted you might be doing it on the timeline when I'd (for some reason) signed up to do the Great North Run this weekend and can't attend, thus miss out on the low-key-clout of answering when you ask if anyone attended.

"Doddy died" "Did he?" "No, Doddy" I thank you 😊

If Ryan Dunn did that stunt, it would be really wild, all things considered.

Had to ask AI about that mouse brain story! Here’s what it said: Yes, this is real — it’s the story of **Émilie Jaumain**, a French lab technician. In 2010, at age 24, Jaumain was working in a prion research lab with brain tissue from mice infected with a form of mad cow disease . While using forceps to handle the samples, she accidentally stabbed her thumb through a double pair of latex gloves, breaking the skin and causing bleeding. She developed symptoms 7.5 years later, and died 19 months after the onset of symptoms from variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) — the human form of mad cow disease, caused by misfolded proteins called prions. The “cut off her hand within 60 seconds” detail is likely a dramatic exaggeration that crept into the retelling — prions aren’t like a fast-acting venom where amputation could stop the spread in a literal 60-second window. But the underlying danger is real: prions are notoriously resistant to normal sterilization and can’t really be neutralized once they’ve entered tissue, which is part of what makes lab accidents involving them so serious. Her family later sued the research institute, alleging she hadn’t been given proper training or cut-resistant gloves, and that there was a 20-minute delay before she received decontamination care. Her death, along with a second worker’s diagnosis, led to a three-month moratorium on prion research in France in 2021 .

Got a lemon fool in the fridge as we speak, lads. Still available in M&S.

Can you lads do the next wrestleme live in New Zealand? Throw one out to the colonies after you stabbed us in the back by joining the EEC. We had Bret Hart for a minute you know

Rob Nancekivell

I'm nearly ten minutes in and this is either Pete having a fever dream and recording it or me having a fever dream while listening. Either way one of us is unwell.

“Come On baby” Makes my laugh ever time

I love the fact that Marc has totally graded Rick Rude

Came for the wrestling, left with Ken Dodd-related trauma

I'm gutted I won't be at the live show this year my employers won't let me have the day off and the Mrs ain't happy I'm going to All in two weeks before. If you guys could write me two letters excusing me from my work and husband/father duties I would be very grateful 🤣🤣🤣 oh well there is always next year

Lovely mention of Pretty Peter Avalon. Criminally underused in AEW after Dark ended.
