I had this ppv on tape and I really enjoyed watching it when I was a teenager. I didn't come back from All in sick but I did sleep for two days straight I was just drained from the whole weekend

A little-known story from the filming of The Sweeney concerns Brian Glover, who had previously wrestled professionally as Leon Arras, “The Man from Paris”. While filming the 1975 episode “Thin Ice”, Glover apparently discovered that John Thaw had been a wrestling fan as a boy. During a break in filming, Thaw asked Glover to demonstrate one of the holds he had used as Leon Arras. Glover obliged, putting Thaw into a theatrical headlock in front of the crew. The joke supposedly made it into the episode in a much subtler form. When Regan later grabs Glover’s character, Moose, Glover deliberately adopts an old-fashioned wrestling stance for a moment as an in-joke that only the two actors and a handful of crew members understood. Years later, Thaw was said to have joked that it was the only occasion during The Sweeney when Regan had picked a fight with someone who genuinely knew how to finish it.

"I don't want to show my arse" - Mark Then what did I buy a front row ticket for!? 😄

Ryan Kelly

Thank you for doing the Bret voice!!!! 😄

Huzzah! It's that time of the year where I realise my flight is booked ridiculously early (to get my London's worth) & will cause me an insurmountable amount of inconvenience just to get to the airport. Looking forward to the live show

The Thinking Cat...Former Cthulhu Pofit Neo Normie and Masked fat guy but now a Cat ??

I had an idea for a Video or podcast how about doing a thing about all 7 WWE 2K Games as I loved the THQ but most of the more modern games you could actually put your faces in the games as some of the games are terrible like 2K 20 and fantastic 2K 19 but you could talk about your experiences with the games as I played all the post Cartridge WWE games from Smackdown to last years 2K as I need a PS5 to play this years. Here's something to get the memories back https://youtu.be/RbahLxWC2Qw?si=dq_6P-d7gVQkwz0R

If you won’t digitise any of the your matches I’d 100% but a Rabbi signed 8x10

Me and my mate used to steal old light tubes from the local college skip and cardboard boxes. Jumping off our sheds through them. Good times being 12/13 years old… gutted we never made up names though.

As someone who was just a few meters away from Andy when he collapsed, and someone who's close friends with one of the promoters of Enjoy Wrestling, I thank you, Marc + Pete, for your extremely kind words and your shared sorrow over the events of this past Saturday. I passed your comments along to my friend, who promoted the show, because you hit the nail right on the head, Marc, with regards to how uniquely tragic it was to have this sort of nightmare occur at their final event in Pittsburgh. If anyone's interested, all of Enjoy's major shows from their five-year run are available to stream in full on yootube, non-monetized. They put out a very fresh, very passionate brand of indy wrestling... and you can feel the love of both pro wrestling and the LGBTQ community radiate from every show they ever held. Thanks again, guys. We love yinz. And, just like you've been hearing from everyone else, we love Andy. Take care of yourselves this weekend! Samuel Paul USW Local 14693

Looking forward to Saturday lads. Bringing along my friend with limited wrestling knowledge. I want to know what he’ll make of it all. He may be put off for life

Tim Bennett

I always like listening to these but I can't in good conscience continue to subscribe without videos of Rabbi Moses Cucamonga's matches available.

I have a ticket for Saturday but unfortunately been sent out of country by my work... Is there a way I can give my ticket to someone?

Paul Chandler

Just finished watching All In today so I'm an episode behind and Mark, "Victoria is the worst tube line" is an absolutely insane opinion.

Handsome B Wonderful

My backyard wrestling gimmick was The Murderer. My entrance attire was a blue coat which bore a resemblance to one worn by a local man who we all thought was a murderer. As part of the gimmick I would 'actually kill' my opponent with a finisher called The Nilson (just a bulldog off of the 'top rope'). A shit and self-limiting gimmick, but so much fun.

Patrick Johnson

Like JJ, also trying to give away my ticket for tomorrow if anyone would like one - seat A13 (so, a good view!)

David Howarth

I’d pay good money for Matt and Pete to review this

Ross Pollard

Wasn’t he originally billed as Fabulous Blitzkrieg ?

Ross Pollard

I also want to add that o wrestled my mates under a new name every time but I did a spell as the British bullfrog and because of the first place I saw wrestling and living a street away from the leisure centre I used Elmbridge Guerrero a lot

Adam Beaumont

Nobody wanted to pick up the TV rights for WCW because the brand was poison by that point

Navdeep Rehill

I have watched and made notes of every WCW ppv. Spring Stampede 1999 was their last great show. It was downhill after that
