Weekly Update #5 (Patreon)
Content
There's been some stuff I'm forced to take care of in real life, so this week has been slightly slower than usual.
The main attraction is the crafting menu and some mechanic reworks. The menu has been updated to fit the new GUI style.
On top of that, we've changed some formulas around with the goal of promoting item crafting for profitability, namely:
Items made from more expensive materials are produced way slower but cost way more. This way, you can not only profit from weapon crafting but also profit more from making more expensive items.
This will also scale with crafting speed, as phys/wit will be less influential on it, but it will benefit more from tools.
Quality upgrading now takes gold and work time instead of copies of an item.
Unique items take materials to upgrade but have their stats increased to make them stronger than standard items.
Some of the tools have been revamped, and a new tool type has been added to boost alchemy and cooking speed.
City temples (Celena for Aliron, Freya for Eldewyn, etc.) will allow your followers to adopt their religion for a price.
Succubus is now a magic trait instead of a class.
The Place of Power dungeon event will now show which trait it offers before asking you to select a character to inherit it, and its frequency has been increased.
Added selectable resolution and a windowed fullscreen setting.
These are the most important changes for the last week. I hope to get the next update out by the end of this week and also implement some settlement upgrade mechanics into it. Thanks for your attention, and see you soon.
