Our new real-time sinking animation is now available to watch in high quality and with complete audio. Featuring an adjusted sinking, a new lifeboat timeline, improved graphics and more, it's our latest take on the tragic and gripping events of Titanic's foundering:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDVLUssrmKULike any attempt to recreate these events, there will undoubtedly be errors and disagreements with other theories about the sinking. We do not claim 100% accuracy or superiority over others. There are also the inevitable liberties that are taken with these animations, like the decision to brighten the overall scene to avoid total darkness. There have been many animations and other works by many talented enthusiasts - as well as countless new interpretations of available evidence by historians and researchers - putting forth many different interpretations of the sinking based on countless bits of information and accounts, some of which contradict each other. We believe all of these works have value in one way or another. While we try to be accurate and take pride in the work we do, we're very aware that we aren't perfect, and that perfection will never be possible (as is also the case with the ship itself). We also ask that people not treat us as the ultimate, be-all end-all source for the "truth" of Titanic. As Walter Lord wrote in A Night to Remember:“It is a rash man indeed who would set himself up as final arbiter on all that happened the incredible night the Titanic went down.”This animation is but one of many attempts to piece together the events that took place on that cold, moonless night in 1912, and we hope you watch it with that in mind, and with thoughts for those 1,496 lost passengers and crew and the 712 survivors.Thank you
