There's some exciting Titanic wreck things happening, yes, but we need to ensure everyone who wants to know about our financials can still get the update! Here's the mid year rundown for 2024.

This is to continue providing some more openness in how Vintage Digital Revival and our efforts to create all things Titanic is being run.

Income

From January to June, amazing people on Patreon gave a total of $57,087.58.

YouTube ad revenue was $10,397.30.

Donations via PayPal totaled $487.

The percent reserved from Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean sales was $1,306.80.

Licensing provided $8,150.

Sales, which came from WeTransfer purchases of the THG Deck Plans, were $141.60 (same as from all of Quarter 1.)

Miscellaneous and other income (some crew pay refunded) was $574.24.

Total income for the first half of 2024 was $78,144.52.

Expenses

Crew pay to fifteen of the VDR team members was $58,214.56.

Refunds sent out for more of the hand-painted model ships were $6,068.73.

Misc. crew pay (contractors and former crew obligations) was $8,832.70.

Subscriptions such as website hosting, clouds, etc., were $3,050.30.

Research costs totaled $784.05.

Postage that was mainly for sending Officers' Perks was $1,022.80.

Art and design costs were $434.74.

And miscellaneous costs and business expenses were $1,222.68.

Total expenses for Quarter 1, 2024 were $79,630.56.

So for the first half of 2024 we had a loss (technically) of $1,486.04. But we're not out here to make money - just survive and rebuilt Titanic in as many ways as possible!

When you look at THG's YouTube channel viewer numbers and the actual Patrons that financially contribute to the VDR's efforts one cannot unsee or deny the obvious discrepancy. I will continue to support this amazing project and team. Keep up the good work!! Sincerely yours the officer...

Where is the exiting progress on P401 or THG?

We all will have to wait and see.

I’ve been following THG since the very beginning. I was just finishing high school. If you told me then that the game still wouldn’t be complete in my early 30s I would have been mad about it. There were points where I thought this project would fail entirely, but I never stopped following. Now with almost a decade of PM experience in both tech and media, I am so humbled to witness this kind of transparency, the frequent updates, and the dedication of the team that has lead to their contribution to a mission to the actual wreck site. As a lifelong Titanic enthusiast, I want you thank you all for what you’ve accomplished for the wider community, and congratulations on your continued success.

Damn, I was hoping for a decent profit for you guys, as in the extra cash would help this wonderful project along ☹️ I'm still very happy to be contributing via patreon!
