We teased this image on YouTube as it will be a topic for an eventual TU video. That topic will be about the "controversy" suggesting the staircase floated out of the ship during the sinking like the James Cameron set floated up.

Spoiler alert: A film set and a ship are two different things.

Any thoughts about that? :)

Seriously...the grand staircase...floating? How did I miss that in the movie? 🧐 Anyway, even though I’m not good or know much about physics, how in the hell is a grand staircase be able to float out of a sinking ship? Can someone please explain? I mean...where is the logic in this?😓

Just Listed to what Bill Sauder once said in 2015 in the Mega Q&A MixLR Podcast about what he said about this! Respectfully enough said by me about this!

I've always wanted to hear more about that theory. I mean, something has to explain why there is no debris from the staircase in the stairwell. And why the wrought iron balusters and cherub were found in the debris field outside the ship.

It always struck me odd that all the solid wood in the staircase completely disintegrated despite the fact that there is still intact wood paneling all over the ship. Honestly, Cameron's theory was the first one that made any sense in explaining this. I know there's the bit of the framework dangling down around C deck or whatever, but is it possible that it simply collapsed back down over time (like the mast now)? Anyway, I'm curious to see how you debunk this theory and perhaps explain where all the wood went?
