Gio has been hard at work figuring out some new historical changes for the B Deck amidship corridors. Can you spot them in this render?

I'm sure he's done his research, but that just looks odd.

wow!!! curtains? oh... the floor! was it carpet over linoleum?

Frank Belanger

Even the corridor panels look different.

Michael Cooper

The top one looks way better :O I love it! Great Job guys!

Half-Dude

I'm afraid to say which one I think I looks better because I honestly don't know which one for sure is the older one.. and I don't want to piss you guys off. ^^;

Alexius

You really are going at it! Very excited for the alpha 😄

The new one, while at a different angle, seems wider. Less claustrophobic than the Demo 3 version. There also seem to be differences in the ceiling geometry covering the vents, and the walls have less detail over a wider area. The doors also look wider, 36 inches rather than the 28 inch doors of demo 3. Again, could just be the angle of the pic.

Ok, let’s say, you worked on the accuracy regarding the light power? The rug over linoleum (looks stunning btw) The question mark is for me the curtains... doesn’t feel like accurate (maybe it is) but was there no doors to close the room and have privacy?

Michiel de Jonge

I agree a bit with David! It seems that the hall is wider and there is carpeting instead of linoleum like Vincent already noticed. The render looks amazing! Is this what unreal 5 would look like? :)

Alexandru Carjan

Carpet, less details on the walls, different lighting, the vent covers don't look as nice. Looks way too dark in my opinion

David Kenefick

Curtains... I just realized that there are no doors ! I knew Zeppelins used curtains to save weight but never would have though Titanic. Would love to know the source material on that. Fascinating.

Alexius

The doors are there. Just swung inward

Alexius

Because its a render. The light might behave diffrent in the engine

Vincelfy

Ok, make sens 🤦🏻‍♂️😅 but now, the question is, why having curtains and doors?

Cocoa Chip's doodles and stuff

Not entirely sure about the curtains, and the lighting is a tad on the dark side, but otherwise Great work.

Maybe the rooms belong to a suite. Sleeping area and living area

Hello team, i'm new. I think your work is very, very beautiful and important. I'm really looking forward to the finished ship. Best regards

Max Seher

I only spotted the different paneling. The corridor seems now to be a little bit wider, and there are some changes in the ceiling‘s design. Carpet doesn’t count I think 🤔

Hi all, I just joined today and I am still quite mesmerized by all the amazing posts. I am writing a novel ( yes, I know, another titanic novel, but I promise it will be reaaallly good) and I am studying as much as possible to render my ship realistic. So this post is very important for me cause my characters have a stateroom on B deck and a carpet on the floor makes a huge difference at a description level. Well, I don't know if I will mention it, but I'd love to know of it was really there or not. Can someone ansewer please? Thanks
