The Alpha is planned to come Soon™ and we'll be talking about it on a stream this Friday! In the meantime, this is an important question and essentially our Patrons are the Alpha testers.

We want to have more than just the static ship, of course. But we want to avoid "feature creep" which is having too much which causes us to be working on the game too long (this is something that we suffered from in the past!)

Out of the following concepts, all of which we plan to have in the initial release of the Alpha, which would you look forward to the most? We would like to focus on all if they are in our capabilities, but we will prioritize what our fans want most.

Rainhill1829 .

At the end of the day, you do what you can.

I wanna touch all the things

Dave

I'm just really looking forward to it, I know it's going to be awesome.

Jonathan from philly

interactive features makes it more immersive and shows how things actually operated

Josh

I’m very excited! Being a life long Titanic fan, exploring the ship itself would be more than enough to keep me entertained. So I would be fine if any additional features weren’t added until later on when you have more time to work on them.

Chris K

Keep up the great work, team! Thank you for your dedication and the updates 🙏

Jon Cox

Do whatever you think will have the biggest visual and emotional impact on the viewers of the Alpha version.

Karl Vuleta

I'd be happy with just a static environment initially, like the previous demos. I'd imagine making everything interactive would take a huge amount of time so I'm happy to wait.

Sydnor Trent

Even with what people want the MOST out of the alpha, i still believe everything should have a focus at SOME point! The world, and environment is just as important as the Titanic, etc and should be treated just as such as the titanic herself! After all, it's an extension of the titanic.

Vincelfy

What I’m really looking forward is the Log Entries. I really want to explore the ship while rediscovering or learning about its history. The “in-construction” would comes second with the Belfast docks environment. The “touching everything” features for me is more gadget, interesting ones, I would try it all for sure but not what I’m the most looking for. ☺️

Alexandru Carjan

Interactive features is the most important, in construction elements second and log entries 3rd

Sydnor Trent

Because it's part of Titanics history, is why.

Wesley Emms

The ship needs to feel alive with interaction. Great job guys. Me and my son still explore the demo from time to time.

christian meinhard

I'm looking forward to the decks that can be moved and how long you can walk in the sinking ship is interesting

Alan (cbc)

Interactive features is important I think.

Jukeb0cks

Seeing Titanic under construction and the differences that that incurs will be really fascinating

Ghost

Personally I think interactive stuff is most important. Get to see what's behind panels, doors, closets etc. I think it will make the player get that feeling that you really can explore everything. Which is a good thing especially for new people considering to stick around for the project.

Osgar

I'm surprised log entries/history did not get more votes. Interactivity and log entries are the most important I'd say.

Jamie Peterson

I just want to be able to explore the ship and learn what every part of it is using log entries. I have no idea why people are obsessed with "interaction". Is turning a lever once or twice or turning on a tap really that important?

Justin Cozart

well, yeah... actually! I want to fill up a bathtub.

Kellie Broughton

Definitely interactive features are cool but I’m way more interested in the historical accuracy of the game itself

Frank Belanger

I would happily wait for all these features. I just want to explore the ship.

David Kenefick

All these features sound very cool, but when I can walk from the bow to the stern, stopping for a drink or two along the way (1st class Smoke Room anyone) and open a few crew doors here and there - I will be very pleased.

Mary Dinh

I'd love to adjust the clocks, or turn faucets on/off.

Dorvita

Merry Christmas everyone xoxox

Dominic Böhme

a question when will the alpha be unlocked

TTC-Ryda

"Which it shall be ready.. when its ready!..." Focus on getting the ship done first. Then adding all those other things will get a lot easier.
