Another sneak peek at some of the lighting updates coming in V1.5 (Release date unannounced)This time, we're taking a look at the first class elevator gear room. We decided to keep the lights off in order to highlight the lighting coming from the prismatic skylights.

When I now looked at the pictures once more, especially the one with all three motors, I kind of expect the starting of the engine any moment rising or lowering an elevator. So basically you also can hear the image ;-)

One of my favorite details from the picture of all three motors is how the bolt shadows recreate that old "Theatre Spotlight Slat Gobo" effect that so many old operas and plays would incorporate into scenes. Its subtle but gives the eyes something to eat.
