111 years ago today, amateur photographer Francis Browne disembarked Titanic in Queenstown Ireland, Titanic’s final port of call.  During his few hours aboard, he captured some of the most famous photos ever taken, one of which inspired this winner from our DEMO 401 screenshot competition!

Congrats to Daniel B!!!

Perhaps no submission better embodies what PROJECT 401 is all about: The faithful reconstruction of century-old deck plans, photographs and stories so they may be experienced for the next 111 years.

Who's excited for our live stream Friday night!?

Who's excited for James' lecture in Orlando on Thursday morning?!

This is perhaps one of the best representations of the original photo of candid life aboard the Titanic. Francis Browne really captured moments that would never have been known were it not for his love of photography. :)

There are some missing metal supports for the boat deck right on the beam underneath it (close to the boy). You can clearly see them on the original photograph... just in case you`ve missed it. The handles of the crane door were black, which you can also see at the picture. I also found several other inaccurancies see: https://c.gmx.net/@324898850726740695/YWeVtuTYQUiwFOSDaqBZNw not meant as criticism but support...
