Oh boy, we been working up a sweat on this one! The Fey Folio is very much still baking, and this is one of the few times that we've been writing the book faster than I can put a PDF together for it (at one point, the Google Doc housing its draft exceeded 100 pages in length.) It's a ton of content, and I'm excited to get it out to you all.

But for now, here's a snapshot of where the book is at: two and a half(ish) chapters are fully together, and a lot of this is playable right away. You might notice that there are some obvious gaps where some spells and rules aren't in the book yet, but if you want to roll up a Boggart character, that should work just fine.

This has very much been a passion project for us, so please let us know what you think/feel about our glimpse into the Feywild so far.

I have a feeling that comments here are going to be much more sparce with everyone dicussing things in discord now...

Mage Hand Press

But I still love from hearing from everyone in the comments!

BardlyWritten

Completely awesome. I've been looking all over for some way to play a dryad character, and this is it. Also, love that Oath of Revelry, you guys are always making amazing homebrew.

Peter Seres

This is turning out to be very nice, as usual. I chuckled at Code of Revelry.

Cody Butler

Oath of the setting sun spells are under Oath of revalery.

Mage Hand Press

I put the last few pages together in a hurry. I'll have that fix up when a few more errors get pointed out, so I can do them in batch

Cody Butler

I gotcha. I'll tell you if I find anything else. I can. Comment mistakes jn the discord right??

James Klein

is there a rule for tiny weaponss for wip as the tinys currently have no weapons? as the only ones listed are tiny longsword and shortbow but im assuming damage and possibly range will have changed for the tiny version

Mage Hand Press

There's going to be a section for tiny weapons in the final version

James Klein

i thought as much i was just wondering if their was a basic rule so players didnt have to wait a month if they wanted to run one, as i have a fairy in my game and your is a lot better balanced then the one being used

Ninja_Prawn

It's a bit long winded, but if you look me up on GitP (Ninja_Prawn), you'll find a link in my forum sig to an extended sig. Follow it and open the 'rules supplements' spoiler, then open _Forests and Faeries_. The tiny weapons table is in that pdf.

Michael Djangali

I haven’t gotten a chance to read it yet but, the cover art is amazing!

A.j. Juson

This is fantastic! I've been looking forward to starting an adventurer from the Feywild! And I love that you incorporated previous classes like the Warmage and Witch!

The Wandering Alchemist

This is awesome !! Now I just need to figure out how to work in fey to my current campaign to make use of some of it!

steve rennie

I am completely flabbergasted! Wow! Impressed with the art, the quality of the production, but more importantly I am giddy with the amount of detail and breadth of content! This is fantastic! I look forward to leading my players (unknown to them) into the feywild and unleash a few wandering Bogles and their Unluck upon them!

Mage Hand Press

We're trying to do that more consistently. it's one of the reasons we wanted to revisit Dark Matter next

Micheal Chow

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but what rules for crafting magic items does the Finesmith use?

Ninja_Prawn

Whatever rules your DM usually uses, I guess. The variant crafting rules we wrote for Complete Craftsman are meant to apply to every class, if you choose to use them, but you could just stick to the DMG/XGtE rules if you prefer. There are no new/special rules just for the finesmith, as far as I'm aware.

Ninja_Prawn

Oh, do you mean because the craftsman doesn't have the spellcasting feature? Yeah, you'd need to multiclass to craft normal magic items, or find some other way around. The Exotic Jewelry class feature lets you create pseudo-magical jewelry only.

Cody Butler

After finding your GitP i dont need anything else in the world.

Ninja_Prawn

Hah. By this point, most of that sig is links to MFoV blog posts... Might still be a few hidden gems though. Princess class, Star Ray patron, couple of the monsters, the Regulars as Spells thread... And if you got super bored, you _could_ read through the history of my PbP games.

LeBallisticPoet

I was wondering if it was oversight or on purpose that the Fairy base race doesn't have an ability score improvement (I know the subraces do)

Ninja_Prawn

It's deliberate. Originally, those three subraces were written as three separate base races, so when we decided to merge them into a common base, there wasn't enough overlap in their ASIs.

Micah Sweet

I don't see a link to the pdf in the message.

Mage Hand Press

Patreon made the link go away -- I fixed it (again) [Edit: Patreon is still having problems...]

Mage Hand Press

After an hour of trying to get it to upload, I finally got it!

LeBallisticPoet

I thought so but I was just making sure. It makes sense especially with some of the bonuses they get.
