This is a page which slows down the pacing of the narrative. It shows Warden unable to do simple motions like wipe the hair from her nose. It subtly points to her helplessness in the real world especially in contrast to her heroic actions in the dream world and brings sets up the reality of her situation. And I thought it would be funny if she woke up in the thought process of "Hey. Wait a minute!"
