Just Removed Ads from My Site! (Patreon)

Thank you so much for your support! Thanks to your help, and also because AdSense is paying close to nothing, I was able to start an experiment today and remove all google ads from my site, starting today.

Non premium users might still see a couple of ads here and there (specially some sponsored content or if I find a really good deal that gives me a comission, which is not something I do often, as you likely know by know 😉).

Meanwhile I keep working on other things in the background. I updated our mods, added a few CC items, fixed the experimental version of the game with access to the gallery (still experimental and only available to Lab users) and I am looking into what I can do about a new release of The Sims 3 All in One, hopefully portable.

Mac users still need to use an emulator of sorts to be able to play (like parallels) or install the game on a second hard drive partition dedicated to Windows. Some people also have success using wineskin. I am still investigating ways to run MacOS somehow, so I can try to "cook" an experimental version of the game that can be run directly on Mac without those, but I wasn't successful this far.

And, finally, I am still looking for alternative file servers for us to have in case we need. I am testing idrive and, while it's quite promising, I faced some technical problems, but it's nice to have alternatives no matter what 😉
