New Legion Event! The Battle of the Cartoon Crushes! (Patreon)

Quick bit of business before the BIG news.

If you haven’t filled out the feedback from, please do so? It helps me make my content better, and more like what you want to see.

It is unfortunately a Google form, but it's set to not request or store any personal information. The raw link: https://forms.gle/DDzRMCzKNnqXgFhr9

Now, to it!!

Battle of the Cartoon Crushes!

EDIT: Day THREE Update!

The regions: American Cartoons, Anime & Manga, Comic Books, and Video Games are all filling nicely, though Anime continues to lag a bit.

To answer a question:

YES you can submit more than one character. I ask you keep it to no more than three per region, but any others you send me will go in the "reserve" section in case we need them.,

If we don't have enough to fill out all sixteen spots in the four regions, then and only then will I add my own list of names to fill spots. But I don't think that'll be too likely. ;)

(Original post)

Hello Legion! It is time for a brand-new, never before seen event!

We all have 'em. Fictional characters we crush way too hard on (sorry for the pun, but you get the idea.)

But which is the best? Who’s the Queen of the Crush? That’s what we’re going to find out in the inaugural BATTLE OF THE CARTOON CRUSHES!

From now until July 27th, I want all of you to send me names of characters, doesn’t matter who as long as there’s some sort of visual reference for them Video games, cartoons, comic books, anime, manga, ANYWHERE!!! Just send me their name and a link to a picture. Please don’t use other people’s fanart if you can help it, but if you gotta, you gotta. You can submit as many names as you like, but if you send me a bunch, please rank them. We may have to loose some to give every Legionnaire a chance. Submit here via Patreon message, DM me on Twitter @DStigy, or drop a line to stigysartbook@gmail.com

I will take ALL the characters submitted and put them into an unseeded competition bracket. From there, I’ll run a two-day poll here and on Twitter for each head-to-head match up. The opening round(s) will be open to the public, but the final four will be Legionnaire only.

You can follow all the action on Twitter under the hashtag #BotCC. If you avoid Twitter like the plague, then keep an eye on this post for updates as the lists take shape.

So, as your semi-benevolent commander, I declare the inaugural Battle of the Cartoon Crushes nominations OPEN!
