Sketch Dump - Donkeys! Dragons! Mermaids! (Patreon)

Sharing some sketches and little works I’ve recently done!

1. I am trying to expand my menagerie of mythical creatures so that I can confidently draw dragons interacting with other fantastical beasts! So unicorns, kelpies, pegasi and the like. So that means lots of equine-sketches. I’ve got many more in a physical notebook (and you can see me getting actually more comfy drawing them!) but alas it’s not with me at the moment!! Anyway, now that I look back at these I find them cute, but all the sketch donkeys have verrrry short stubby legs lol!

2. Weird dragon face shapes! Tried to blend dragons with equine stances and movement, as I usually reference cats and dogs. So have two prancing and galloping dragons!

3. My little sister asked me what I would want to look like as a mermaid. So if someone were to ever curse me into becoming a sea-creature, please reference this. It’s very dragon-y (who would’ve thought?)

4. Sneak-peek of the next comic! This one will be shared publicly right away when it’s done, as it’s promoting a currently-secret merch item :D
