Sketch Dump - August (Patreon)

Hello! I hope you’ve had a great summer, and that you got to enjoy many days of whichever type of weather you like best!

I’ve had a bit of an idea drought comic-wise, so I’ve been into making dragon designs lately. I started building a social media presence through what people call “adoptables” which are basically character designs that people can purchase or trade for, and then they get to keep and develop it as their own character. Feels great to return to my roots every once in a while!

I wish I could share a new comic with you this month, but the ideas I have are shabby at best atm and still need to bake in my mind! I would like to give Swordfish more attention; he totally deserves it. But for now, here’s what I’ve made lately:

1. Avoryx and Grym in a heraldic style. I’m hoping to turn these into pins! I just need to find a manufacturer who can handle this level of detail. They’re pretty complicated design-wise but I’m not willing to budge on quality compromises here lol

2. Avoryx’s plush concept art! The front view looks a little off here now that I look back on it but hey, the end result turned out terrific :)

3.-4. are adoptable designs! One is a wyrm hanging around a nature trail, always on the lookout for food left behind by campers, and the other one is a design inspired by roses and prickly shrubs!

1. is another design that I’ve finished the lineart for, but haven’t gotten to the colors yet. Feel free to leave your suggestions! I’m happy with the design but would like to finish this little wyrm soon :D

That’s all for now! With the weather cooling down hopefully my brain starts working again, and you’ll have a comic soon! Thank you for sticking around!
