The main character this time is 'Yani Neko' from the anime 'Yani Neko'. Does it sound like a pun to you? Actually, in Japanese, 'Yani Neko' means 'cigarette cat' That is why the English title is translated as 'Chain Smoker Cat'.
In the anime, our Yani Neko smokes an enormous amount of cigarettes, just as the title suggests. It wouldn't matter if she only smoked, but she is a character who engages in anything addictive, such as alcohol, gambling, and psychotropic drugs.Naturally, most of the characters in the series are somewhat screwed up and insane like this, so if you get hooked on it just by looking at the characters' appearances, you might end up getting hurt later on (ㅇㅅㅇ;;)
Nevertheless, the reason people keep watching is (in my opinion, at least) simply because it's fun. It's the perfect anime to watch without thinking too much.And I really hate to admit it, but... on top of that, the protagonist looks so utterly hideous because he is so obsessed with cigarettes that this anime is nicknamed the 'Animation Campaign for Quitting Smoking'...Nevertheless, again, his basic appearance is so much my style that it’s driving me crazy. Damn it!Actually, there is a reason why I increased the size of the cockroaches featured in this work. I previously created a piece featuring small cockroaches as the subject in my 'Classic Things' series. Back then, of course, much like other images depicting love with insects, I believe the eroticism stemmed from the illogical act of mating with a cockroach—an action the character would absolutely never perform. But here's the thing: in the case of Yani Neko, what if she were paid a huge amount of money instead of engaging in 'interspecies'...? No, not even that, but what if she were given quite a lot of cigarettes...? Or what if she was just too lazy to do anything and ended up lounging around at home, accidentally mating with non-humans, and enjoyed it so much that she kept doing it...? To put it simply, unlike my previous works, there was a 'strange sense of realism,' so I had no choice but to introduce these unrealistically giant cockroaches. I felt like if I included a small cockroach, it might strangely fit the atmosphere of the work (?) and make you feel uncomfortable (ㅇㅅㅇ;;;;;) Unfortunately, I couldn't include a childbirth scene. I'll consider it if I get the chance next time. So, please enjoy!
