Hard-boiled, deep-fried, and fresh out of the bag!

The first ever episode of The Double Stuff with Brian and Weinberg is a real classic…or at least they are discussing a real classic.

Welcome to the new era!

Some things about fries: 1) Use an air fryer to reheat - will get you some good crunchy fries. 2) Zaxby's has some good fries only because of the seasoning . 3) Five Guys fries are really good. 4) White Castle does have a "regular size" and a Sack but are fairly meh. 5) The fries from the Heart Attack Grill are made in Duck Tallow - they are okay, nothing that great. 6) Steak and Shake fries are also very meh. 7) The BEST fries I ever had were from a place called Taco Factory (a local place) they were most likely made in beef tallow and were the best fries EVER.

Listening to the podcast made me think about the thread that connects Stalag 17 and The Godfather

I have an idea. Well a suggestion really. Where these episodes are under the Double Stuffed portion of Junkfood Cinema how about a second movie recommended to make a perfect double feature. No deep dive into the second one but a film you think would go good with it.

Love this new podcast -- and wow, film noir is one of my favourite genres. Shoutout to Criterion Channel which programs a ton of noir movies including Panic in the Streets which Scott mentioned. Richard Widmark is an interesting actor and I'd love to hear you talk more about him. And yeah, EGR rules and I think I like him best as a good guy or in comedic roles, weirdly.

Im just a bit further south of Weinberg, and Roy Rogers are plentiful. Several full establishments in my city alone.
