As far as I remember you have discussed one German movie on JFC so far (The Samurai). Are there other German movies that you know and would deem JFC worthy? (You guessed it, I'm German).

I've heard you talk before about the quality of film transfers on Blu Ray and streaming. I just wanted to get your thoughts on studios doing poor quality transfers of old movies to Blu Ray? What made me think was a recent watching of the original Star Wars trilogy on Blu Ray which looks amazing so it must be possible to make an old movie look good (although Lucas/Disney have the money to do it I guess!). Do you think some studios or rights owners just do a half assed job to get their movies back out there and don't care about video quality?
