Summer of 87 would not be complete without a trip to Santa Carla as  Brian and Cargill take on all the damn vampires of Joel Schumacher's The Lost Boys.

If it's 1987, then the Belushi movie is most likely the principal which is actually a really badass movie.

I think that if there were other vampire clans, the grandfather had been quietly killing them off.

I became a patreon for this episode because it actually FRUSTRATED me a little. a) Cory Haim's character is definitely gay, and what's great is it's (a first? only?) horror movie with a gay character where they don't make a big deal about him being a gay character. Which is so DAMNED refreshing for the time. b) sexy sax player the same sexy sax player that was in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, c) since you already covered this film in episode 7, will be really bummed if you go through '87 without covering HELLRAISER. [d) P.S. sorry, I should not join patreon and post after being at a fest which involved drinking all day]
