In this double-headed mailbag, we also engage in a miniature review of a Summer of 87 movie that didn't make the cut because it divided the hosts. We also chat CHUDs, tacos, and the fate of Innerspace.

This...this is a good one guys.

I'm assuming you bought Innerspace before it came to Netflix, Cargill.

I wonder if the copy of Born in East LA that you bought was the complete version of the movie. For those of you unaware, the theatrical and VHS versions of Born in East LA end very abruptly with Cheech and the love interest on a parade float with no context of how they got there. It wasn't until I saw the movie on network television that I was able to see the entire sequence showing how they got onto the float. I have no idea why they cut all that out when they released the movie to theaters.

I wonder if Roberto Benigni was aware of The Day The Clown Cried and decided to tweek the concept into something comparatively more positive thus giving us Life Is Beautiful.

Not sure.

I thought when Cargill mentioned Robert Wise he was gonna gush over MY favorite Robert Wise pic - The Body Snatcher. He didn't. I'll have to check out Odds Against Tomorrow though.
