Going off the Death Note conversation, has fandom reached a worrying point of toxicity or is it just an internet thing?

Andi Preller

What's your take on the movie Love and a .45? Is it a thing in Austin?

Tony Kerns

As a Junkeon, I live by the motto that "an enjoyable movie isn't always good, and a good movie isn't always enjoyable." What movies do you recognize and praise for their cinematic achievement and impact, but they just bore the hell out of you? For me, I fall asleep whenever someone plays 'Gone with the Wind' and 'The Wizard of Oz'.

Nathan Helton

What do you think about Netflix's $20 billion in long-term debt? How would you proceed content-wise if you were them? Would you stay the course, or tighten things up a little?

Hannibal Montana

Watching It and Death Note recently has got me thinking of narratives centered around teenagers. What are some of your favorite teenage characters and what is your threshold for when a teen character's immaturity starts to get on your nerves in a story?

Kyle Voltti

Hey guys, I was wondering what your ride or die movies were. What movies do you have to watch regardless of time or place come hell or high water. Also I found Sea of Rust to be a great read. It was wistfully melancholic in it's setting and implications. I'm already telling froends to buy the book and read it.

Shane

I want you guys to do episodes on White Water Summer (Summer of '87!) and Willow. Just two movies that I remember loving un-ironically.

Pandastic

This is a question for Cargill: Is it okay if I refer to you as my movie sensei?

Josephine Allegretti

How many passes do you guys usually do on a screenplay before you've reached a satisfying first draft?

Michael Buck

Its mlre of a suggestion than a question but bare with me. Now i know raggibg on bad movies isnt really this show and i get that, but it would be awsome if in the future if you guys each choose 2 movies that the other hates to do on the show. As brians choice could be Street Figher 1994 and Carlyle could choose something like Armageddon and try and win the other over on their opionion of that film. Anyways just a thought stay junky.

Adam Charles

IT is currently on a pace to gross more than $300 million domestically, and I don't think anyone saw that coming. What are some of your favorite junkfood success stories - films, or shows, that nobody would have predicted to break through into the cultural mainstream?

Santos

In regards to Death Note, what is your opinion of it getting hit with the phrase "whitewashing".

Santos

I recently watched Q: The Winged Serpent for the first time and I was blown away by Michael Moriarty's performance in that film. What is your opinion of Q: The Winged Serpent and Michael Moriarty's acting in the movie?

Christie

I hunger for more Sea Junkie Movies. I have seen Deep Blue Sea (twice within the past 2 weeks), Deep Rising, and Poseidon (remake). Do you have any recommendations?

John Michael Decker

Lords of Junk: with the release of Sea of Rust, I'd be interested to know who or what are some of your favorite robot, AI, and machine characters?

Tristan N Milner

If Brian's nickname is Steak Pliskin, what nickname should his kid get?

Andy

With the passing of Harry Dean Stanton, what was your favorite role of his?

Allan Jensen

If you're a director on a movie, what would be the worst thing(s) the studio/producer could say to you?

Riley J Robertson

Favorite Orson Welles film? I'd take Chimes at Midight, Touch of Evil or even F is For Fake over Citizen Kane (Speaking again about favorite, not best)

Tristan N Milner

What comic book cross over would you like to see turned into a movie?

George Chinaglia

Even though it was mostly panned, and it essentially killed Richard Kelly's career, I loved Southland Tales (generous reading of the film, he assumed it was the only time he was going to have the budget or the clout to do exactly what he wanted so he went balls to the wall). Any examples of box office poison/career ending films, that you guys love?

Morgoth

Catching up on past episodes I just watched "Der Samurai" and really enjoyed it. The North/Eastern European-ness of the movie reminded me of a Polish film I saw in the theaters twice this year, "The Lure" ("Córki dancingu"). Have you seen this? If so, what did you think? My friends and I enjoyed the insanity of it so much that we kept bringing other friends to see it. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend the film. All I'll say is: Killer Mermaids! (and that doesn't even touch on the overall weirdness of the film) (I posted this pretty late last time, so sorry for the repeat)

Santos

What are your thoughts on the new Punisher trailer?

Mike Loiacono

I'm currently reading Sea of Rust and really enjoying it so far, but I have to ask if Cargill is aware that not only is "sea of rust" a place within current Transformer lore, but "Bulkhead" is also the name of a very popular Transformers character from a recent cartoon. Not trying to get up on the Wyrm's grill, just wondering if either of these were deliberate. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Rust_Sea http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Bulkhead_(Animated)
