In the JFC Facebook group a short conversation about LOVE & A .45 was started today. What‘s the status of this movie in Austin?

Kirk Yoshonis

You guys always mention the not-so-short “short list”. Not to steal any aspect of surprise, would you be willing to reveal said list, either publicly or to patrons, in some way?

Katana King

If you had to adapt Neuromancer, would you make it a movie or a TV series, and who would you cast?

Tom Cody

Can we get some junkfood Westerns covered on the show? There is a treasure trove of spaghetti westerns that are junky as hell, and this is the one genre that has been somewhat overlooked on the pod so far.

Mr Mr H

Two part question: 1 - what movie would you like to see remade as a TV show? ..and... 2 - what TV show would you like to see remade as a movie?

Smoke Man

What horror movie has more remake potential, Phantasm or Candyman? and who would you like to direct them?

Andy

Sorry for the obvious question, but now that Disney officially purchased 20th century fox, and the x men mcu crossover is incoming, what’s the 2 character team up film you’d want more? Any love for a doctor strange and Magik film?

Allan Jensen

Thoughts on the firing of James Gunn?

Allan Jensen

Now that Disney is about to own Fox how do you feel about them having 40% of the box-office market share?

Allan Jensen

Thoughts on Carrie Fisher "returning" for Star Wars Episode IX?

Derek Koger

I've been going back through old episodes, like Yor Time is Now, and you keep saying you're going to do a Spacehunter episode. I don't want to be one of those fans, but are we going to hear one? 😁

Grover Watson

What’s one of your favorite “Oh hey it’s that guy” actor caught your eye early in their career and made it big? Mine’s John Hawkes. I remember seeing him in the first scene in From Dusk Til Dawn with Clooney and him stealing that scene. I remember thinking that he was great and I hope he catches on. Then about tens years later he’s in Deadwood and a go to character actor.

Larry Sternshein

Junkfood Cinema: The Movie, who plays Cargill, Brian, Merril, Joe Lynch and any other guest you've had on the show that should be in the movie and what's the plot?

Larry Sternshein

That's exactly how I picture you but like the young version

Joshua McDowell

do you think culture will begin focus on to 90's properties? what 90's ers show/ movie would you like to see revived

Dogget

What franchise does what it does the best, Fast and Furious or Mission impossible?

Norvyn Klein

Is Cillian Murphy not one of the greatest actors of our time? Is there any roll he can't play?

Santos

To Cargill, the short film As They Continue To Fall seems very straightforward about what's happening, but your original short story feels more ambiguous with you wanting the reader to doubt the protagonist's sanity with Quixote Bridge being a big clue.

Josephine Allegretti

If you could take a Battletruck and drop it in the middle of any film, what would it be?

Robert lathrop

What are your favorite “bad” movies, the ones you can’t help but watch even though they’re utter shit? Mine is Ice Pirates just because of the line “space herpes.”

Corey Jackson

What films do Cargill and Brian believe should never be remade? My personal choices are The Crow and The Warriors.

Lane Mullin

When does the autumnal season start with you? When do you start watching specific horror movies to invoke the Halloween mood?

Morgoth

A few mail bags back you gave your quick reviews of movies from ‘89 and ‘90, and why you wouldn't be doing "summer of.." for those years. Just curious about your quick/hot takes on some of the cult/exploitation/midnight movies from ’88 that you didn’t include in this series: Lair of the White Worm [a personal favorite] Dead Ringers Dead Heat (zombies) The Serpent and the Rainbow (more zombies) Return of the Living Dead II (even more zombies!) Phantasm II Fright Night 2 The Decline of Western Civilization II D.O.A. [another personal favorite] Willow Heathers Bloodsport Monkey Shines Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown Earth Girls are Easy Vampire’s Kiss Akira Grave of the Fireflies My Neighbor Totoro Demon City Shinjuku (using the loose February through November definition of “summer” that you’ve used previous years)

Cody Downs

Which of these 2 detective film sequels was the unnecessary to produce: ":French Connection II" or "Another 48 Hrs."? Keep up the great work, Junkion Masters!

Cody Downs

Correction: "the most unnecessary to produce"

Morgoth

addendum: in your "Shakedown" episode you talk about a problematic film and I'm guessing that might be LotWW. I am truly unaware of any controversy. I was just thinking a Bram Stoker story with early Peter Capaldi and early Hugh Grant

Crown Jules

Will we see Zelma Stanton in Doc Strange 2?
