Thoughts on Amazon looking to buy a movie theater chain? Did the theater owners do this to themselves by not letting streamer movies play wide?

Dan Alexander

What are your guys favorite Asylum or Syfy original films?

Gm47

Just recently became a patron and have been really enjoying burning through your guys' backlog of patreon content. I noticed you guys had seemed excited for The Last Jedi given the fact that you're both big Rian Johnson fans, but to my knowledge you havent talked about the movie on the podcast. So my question is what were your general thoughts on Episode 8?

George Chinaglia

Too late for an A La Mode and too early for a full episode, but thoughts on You Were Never Really Here? It really felt to me like an indie Chuck 1 Cannon film.

George Chinaglia

Also, after seeing it the other night for the first time in about 25 years, I can't believe you haven't done an episode on Heathers yet. The darkest, and surely best, 80's teen film.

Phillip Butehorn

Are you guys going to do an episode on Disney’s Halloweentown TV movie series?

Larry Sternshein

What are some modern Junkfood masters that are working in the genre of action cinema?

Shane

Any thoughts on the potential success/failure of Denis Villeneuve's upcoming Dune?

Classic Material

If you haven't done this yet I'd love to hear a quick top 5 and bottom 5 for Bond movies

George Chinaglia

Also also, thoughts on Haywire? A film that I think came along at just the wrong time - post small to mid budget action films doing any sort of business at the theater, pre Netflix providing a new home for just that sort of thing. Excellent director, great cast, fantastic lead, and really well shot action in a tight, slick genre piece.

Michael Buck

Having just listened to The Movie Crypts "Serbian Film" commentary and daring myself to watch the film itself one does question how far they are willing to go for horror. So what are your stances on films like "Cannibal Holocaust", "Audition" or "Serbian Film" when despite the material being beyond disturbing is technically very well made and in some cases has something to say?

Smoke Man

Has there been any al a mode worthy films you guys have seen this year?

Joshua McDowell

if swayze did a Tarzan movie in his prime. who would you have cast to be Jane?

Kevin MacDonald

Recent fare like Atomic Blonde wishes it was as good as Haywire.

Kevin MacDonald

Question for Brian. When does Zane's JFC education begin in earnest and where do you plan to start?

Joshua McDowell

That was such a fun series and it did a great job of holding on to it's logic and rules where most movies like that just make it up as they go

Jacob Booth

I recently re-watched The Foreigner with Jackie Chan and was wondering what your thoughts on it? and would it be in the cards to get a Jackie Chan themed episode any time soon? also what did you think of the death wish remake?

Adam Charles

Not gonna ask your thoughts on the "Outstanding Achievement in Popular Film" category for the Academy Awards - but will ask that if the goal of the Academy Awards is to spotlight great artistic achievement in cinema, but also to drive in general viewership that doesn't place a lot of stock on the art-side of cinema, then do you think that's even doable to achieve both? And, if so, how would 'you' do it?

Adam Charles

Favorite use of an Aretha Franklin song in film (she was quite prevalent in a lot of 90s junkfood soundtracks).

Morgoth

Speaking of '88, one of my favorite Bollywood films to come out that year is the entirely junky “Veerana” (it's insane!). Question: Have either of you delved into Indian cinema and do you have any favorite Bollywood junk food movies?

Morgoth

On the FB page, junkions have occasionally discussed back-and-forth on our like/dislike of the Wachowski "Speed Racer" film. I think some films require prep work. Before showing that movie I show episodes of the '60s anime and people always enjoy it more. Before showing someone "The Forbidden Zone" I make them watch Fleischer "Betty Boop" cartoons. Do you have any favorite movies that require "prep viewing" and if so what pairings do you choose?

Morgoth

Ok, it's a Criterion release now and I haven't asked in a few months, so...have you seen "The Lure" yet?

Paul Richards

Work has been physically and mentally draining as of late and I find myself going home and wanting to just watch something, but I end up just start stopping a lot of movies. What are some of your recommendations for movies I just get lost in and not have to think for a few hours?

Kyle Dekker

Who is the greatest Junkfood Composer? James Horner, Bail Poledorius? Someone else?

Kyle Voltti

Hey Junkfood Overlords, i was just museing in how great a Jeffery Coombs / Bruce Campbell joint project would be. What are some unpaired Junkfood alums you'd love to see paired or grouped up.

Santos

What movie do you think has the best non-use of a musical score?

John Michael Decker

Have you gents seen Upgrade or Hotel Artemis? Both junkie as hell and right in your wheelhouse.

Dogget

Are there any movies that you feel you aged out of before you could enjoy it? Like maybe 2001 Space Odyssey is to slow for me as someome born after the 90's.

Robert lathrop

Just watched Gerald’s game on Netflix and it had one of the most disturbing scenes in cinema ( the hand scene). What are your most disturbing scenes from the movies?

Connor Kirchhof

What movie did you love as a child but can't really watch now? I know The Lion King is one for me, when I was little I could still believe that Mufasa could make it this time but now I know the cold, dark, unyielding, unchanging fact.... anyways thats my question, thanks, love your work guys.

Corey Jackson

Have Brian and Cargill ever considered covering any of the DC animated films on the podcast? Batman:Under The Red Hood and Batman:Assualt On Arkham both in my opinion definitely qualify as junkfood cinema.

Crown Jules

I can’t help but wonder what the fellas think, if anything at all, about HDTGMade recently lampooning “Never Too Young to Die.”

Leon Collins

What are your thoughts on why we have moved away from credits at the beginning of films to the end...why did that happen?

Santos

Would you consider Emily Hagins' Pathogen worthy of a Deep Dish episode?

Santos

Damn, that scene is so hard to watch. Great movie, by the way.

Santos

5 Deadly Venoms for Summer of 78, please?
