Best Kurt Russel movie?

Cody Downs

Of the 2, which pains you the most that it has a cult following: "Showgirls" or "Howard the Duck"?

Andi Preller

I don‘t remember if you mentioned the movie Summer of 84 on an episode before. If you‘ve seen it what did you think of it? I saw it theatrically this week and seem to like it more than most people I know who‘ve seen it.

Christopher Briggs

I know it is a little late, but how could you ignore the Cheap Detective for Summer of '78? A travesty I say!

Nathan Helton

Have you guys ever considered Flea’s filmography? It’s pretty damn good: Baby Driver, Inside Out, The Big Lebowski, Roadside Prophets, Back to the Future II & III, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas...the list goes on (the Charlie Sheen movie The Chase is also worth mentioning, as is Gus Van Sant’s Psycho). Are there any musicians that you think need some kudos for their acting endeavors?

Kyle Voltti

You’ve mentioned Police Academy which eventually leads the the Saturday morning cartoon and toy line. What are your thoughts on 80’s R rated material eventually becoming fodder for children? I ask as someone who had Rambo toys.

Any good teen movies in the last 10 years? Last one I can think of is Easy A and I miss good teen movies

Andy

With venom making 200 million its opening weekend, how do you feel when movies change their ratings before release? Do you think this stifles the creative process for writers/directors? And what do you think is the worst example of pre-release ratings changes?

Paul Balfe

What is your choice for the best female empowerment junk food movie?

Davis Gammons

Will you guys do an ‘a la Mode’ on “The Predator”? After watching it myself, I thought it was just okay; definitely Shane Black’s weakest film as a director, but obviously due to studio interference. Nonetheless, I’d really like to hear what you two thought of it, being the major Black fans that you are, and maybe discover some things that’ll make me appreciate it more. P.S. Thank you for turning me around to filmmakers like George P. Cosmatos; after your “Cobra” and “Tombstone” episodes, I tracked both of them down and really dug both. P.P.S. Another ‘a la Mode’ that’d be cool would be for “Mandy”, directed by Cosmatos’ son, Pano. I really can’t wait to watch it, and look forward to hearing if you two think he’ll end up a worthy heir to his father in the Junkfood Hall of Fame. Keep up the good work, can’t wait to learn of more hidden Junkie gems!

Larry Sternshein

This is my question, what are some underrated slasher films that you have seen? Since we are in Halloween mode.

Jason Fortin

I second the A LA Mode on Mandy!! The movie the has haunted me since I have seen.

Harold

Not a question as much as a suggestion... Cargill, would you reconsider your veto on Ice Pirates? I’m sure it’s a favorite of a good portion of the JFC crowd, if we need a show of hands mine is first :-)

Corey Jackson

When are you guy's going to do a month on Charlize Theron's filmography? Atomic Blonde, Mad Max:Fury Road, Hancock, The Italian Job, Reindeer Games, and 2 Days In The Valley all qualify for their own individual episodes.

Cinema To The Letter

I asked this to Brian on Twitter, but I’d like to hear the Cargill side of this. What's a JFC appropriate movie that you love so much but Brian hates that you'd consider doing a one man episode about it?

Pandastic

What are your thoughts on Joell Schuhmacher? Junkfood Master with some slip ups or terrible director throughout? And why do so many people hate 8mm?

Leon Collins

The Purge - I like these films and am enjoying the TV series but the crime they always show is usually murder or rapey murder...is like to see some robbery/heist action....thoughts?

Jeff Garcia

What are your thoughts on Rob Zombie films? Especially curious on how his take on the Halloween series rate with y’all.

Gun Nuts Films

I don’t know if you’ve ever said your opinion on The Last Jedi? And do you think the backlash to the movie was going way way way too far? (Personally I really loved it and it truly felt like beautiful cinema onto of a Star Wars movie from one really daring Director) Love the show and Rock on! 🤘🏻

Santos

What is your opinion on Happy Death Day?

Santos

Is the original The Haunting deserving of its classic status?

Will Hicks

Have you guys watched the film Fortress with Christopher Lambert?

Will Hicks

Do you think the film Hold The Dark is about incest?

Morgoth

;I know you've moved on from '78 and '88, but thought you'd get a kick out of checking out/discussing some greats from '58: The Fly The Blob Dracula - the first Hammer with Lee and Cushing The Vampire's Coffin - another great Mexican vampire movie Vertigo Touch of Evil Hidden Fortress Elevator to the Gallows King Creole (my favorite Elvis film) Seems like 1958 was pretty influential on future junkfood!

Morgoth

A few more '88 films not discussed in the "worst of" episode that I'm curious about your thoughts on and/or if they're "take a drink" worthy. A lot of these seem particularly "junky" to me! Dead Ringers The Serpent and the Rainbow Heathers Willow D.O.A. (remake with Dennis Quad and Meg Ryan) Monkey Shines Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown Earth Girls are Easy Vampire’s Kiss Lair of the White Worm Good sequels: Return of the Living Dead II Phantasm II Fright Night 2 The Decline of Western Civilization II Anime (have you ever covered anime?): Akira Grave of the Fireflies My Neighbor Totoro Demon City Shinjuku

SilkiePJ

Did you guys ever eat/drink something later in life that you thought was a better junkfood movie pairing for a movie you already covered?

Santos

Would you ever consider covering Ron Howard's The Paper?
