Patrons! We're headed out west to join up with the Magnificent 7 for this month's Junkfood a la Mode! A western discussed on a Sunday morning? I guess it's also The Wild Brunch (uh thank you!). Enjoy!

My favorite version of The Magnificent Seven is The 13th Warrior which combines the story of the seven (now 13, of course) with Beowulf. It's a movie that needs to be discussed on JFC especially considering that it managed to be entertaining despite a troubled production (the movie actually ended up with two directors).

Heads up before you listen: SPOILER ALERTS for Seven Samurai, The Magnificent Seven (1960) and Battle Beyond the Stars. Yeah, a true patron will have seen these flicks already, but just in case.
