What are your favorite true crime movies? I love Bernie and recently watched Scott Derrickson's The Devil's Knot and liked it.

Kevin MacDonald

How do you think the result of the US election will impact cinema over the next few years? Do you think more studios will lean into more escapist, lighter fare given the current social and political climate?

Kyle Voltti

Hello my Junkfood Overlords is there a junk food movie that you think you could thrive in?

Andy

Favorite Nicolas Cage role? and yes, i'm talking about the bad ones.

Liam Shepard

What roles/jobs do you guys think you would have if you were born in a pre-film time period? Could be anywhere from prehistory to post industrial revolution, just no film industry to work in/write about. Cargill can't say "just a novelist"

Krešimir Valjak

Long time listener, first time caller (writer? asker?). I recently rewatched Enemy Mine starring Dennis Quaid which is basically a sci-fi Hell in the Pacific. That reminded me of Outland which is also just another movie put in a sci-fi setting, in this case High Noon, which brings me to my question: what other cases of movies getting sci-fied do you know of and could share with the Junkfood nation?

Mark Johnson

I listened to the Movie Crypt podcast featuring Cargill yesterday and I do have a quick question about that. You mentioned a 'trailer moment' in Dr Strange that did not make it into the trailer. Which bit was that?

Myles Attwood

In celebration of Jackie Chan receiving an honorary Oscar, what are some of your favorite moments from his films? What are some other foreign actors do you think should be recognized as well?

Santos

Are there any movie cliches that you never tire of? One of mine is when the villain is tricked into confessing their crimes, unaware that they are being recorded. That one always makes me happy even though it's been done countless times.

Gelbz

Wondering if you saw/thoughts about a couple junky horror flicks that have come out recently; Blair Witch, and Ouija Origin of Evil. That latter one falling much harder on the junky end of the junky spectrum, but still fun!
